I know young Tony . However we are where we are and it sucks .

The sooner the deal goes through the sooner we can bring in more players . Chickens and eggs innit ?

Indeed it is and sadly Darren Purse has signed for Yeovil for a month. Shame about that.

But the end of the deal is nigh and JB WILL be the new owner very soon.

I bet they are furious that their names got leaked. Does this amount to bullying tactics by the administrator or Brent ??

What does the law say about this matter ? Could legal action be taken by TC or PR over this ?

If they sign something now, perhaps they could later argue that they were forced to sign under duress (ie threat of being attacked by nutty Argyle fans) ??

PR Vs. JB only one way to find out who is right.........

Seriously though it could be that PR is thinking that the club has shafted him once (quite recently) and maybe he has had enough and wants to make a point over a principle? Don't know what the moralists would make of all this?
I must be phsycic.

In all fairness, Ridsdale did save the club, without him coming in when he did I don't think we would have a club now, but that is a different topic.

No I couldn't let it pass either, stop talking out of your arris.
7 scumbags down and only 1 to go before we get our Argyle back!

I've got to page 6 and am taking a break, my brain hurts ....

Two points at this stage (and sorry if they are dealt with on page 7 or 8 by an informed poster):

Firstly there appears to be a complete contradiction in TC's stance that all he is asking for is to be treated the same as the others and the contrary claim that he is asking for special treatment.

Secondly JB's point is that if he makes a special arrangement for TC & Peter Reid then he would have to do the same for all the others.

Three points....

Thirdly it is not that JB can't afford to pay the extra money - he doesn't want to. He is making a business decision.
I want my game back!

Now PR's position is another matter. The problem is that he is being probably advised by his own lawyer, who is not likely to advise him to concede, as that lawyer has no emotional attachment to the critical issue of PAFC's continuity.[/quote]

and why should he? can't expect a solicitor to say: 'let it go Reidy or you might upset Quintrell Grenn can you?? (can you??) reidy made enough sacrifices in his time here. not his fault if those running the club continue to make elementary mistakes or skip detail.

just goes to show you are better off with a legal adviser who gives you advice rather than one who suggests you don't answer questions truthfully!!

Who said I was upset. I was only stating the obvious. The lawyer would be considered incompetent if he did not recommend a stance at this stage.

With regard to your bracketed thoughts, I guess the guys who gave George Reilly of Watford a smack, have now retired from the retribution scene.

Tend to agree with you, as we've made it this far and it seems that we are just too close to completion for anything to stop it now.
