What I find strange is that PR's issue seems to been allowed to lie until the last moment. As a high earner I would have felt the likely amount involved would have loomed large before now. Peter Ridsdale spoke regarding the amicable nature of the sacking interview with PR and how the chatted long about football generally. It looks as if the contentious issue of pay and outstanding rights were conveniently forgotten at the time and allowed to fester.

And of course risdale when he leaves will not mind or argue if he is offered a fraction of what he believes to be owed?

I would guess that Peter Reid has been left to (almost) last deliberately, possibly in an effort to pressurise him into submission- how ironic could it be that someone who stood during it all could (would) after all be the one to bring liquidation.
If he has received no money since Oct 2010 then he must be due 300k minimum.
Question - do YOU expect Peter Reid to sign away his right to this money ?
Maybe another way to put it, if the firm you worked for went the same way as PAFC would you sign your right away to 18 months salary ?? (Reid's was contracted until summer 2012).
Could you afford to lose 30k ?? I couldnt.
One day you'll realise you're on own & no ones coming to save you.

Human nature is unpredictable, to be sure. Nevertheless, based on what we have seen of Peter Reid's behaviour as manager during our crisis months (dignified, loyal, trustworthy, non-egotistical) I personally will be surprised if he puts us into liquidation. I think we have next week left for Peter & P&A to come to deal to avoid the unthinkable; hopefully all agreed on Monday.

I wonder if they talked about their time at Leeds together, and Ridsdale's comments in his book about Reidy? If I remember rightly, he was none too flattering.
When did football stop being a slum sport played in slum stadiums for slum people... And when can we have it back, please?

Underwhelmed so you don't have to be.

If I was Readie I'd tell the club to go f*** themselves, the blokes been great all the way through this sorry mess and now they want to stab him the back for all his loyalty, sad.
Stand firm Readie and get what is owed to you, now is not the time for you to be loyal to a club that screwed you.
7 scumbags down and only 1 to go before we get our Argyle back!

Everyone is so far up Peter Reids Ar$e!! He got sacked because we were poor on the pitch and we were heading one direction. Fresh approach was needed.

Good luck to Peter, but please get this resolved asap before its too late.

The thing is if Reid does not accept and asks for more, every single other creditor is entitled to do the same, this would be the end then.

He could be reimbursed in other ways subject to strict confidentiality clauses of course.

Don't believe that even comes into James Brent's thinking, everybody is to be treated equally, at least that's what was reported.

Shhhh! I dont think I could handle the shrill screech of the infatuated school girls who still seem to see him as some messiah 'readie' (do you know him?) is the one man who can still pull the trigger on our club, just imagine the bile and threats etc had it been say stapleton or gardner (you wont get a sir out of me mister) but no there are still a deluded few who gush and fawn over the worst manager in our history.
A man's worth is no greater than his ambitions.

Mr.Reid was with the Man City Directors at Old Trafford today.
The 2011-2012 season was the end for me.
