I think the answer to that would be threats & pressure.

Tony - thank you for this, I like most others have no real idea what it is you are agreeing to, it is far too easy for those who are not in your position to judge you and tell you what you should do.
But as an Argyle fan who has no connection with any 'names' or those in the know - Thank You.

Agreed. It will all come out in the wash I am sure but it would appear TC's position was not exactly the same as the other 298 or so. Respect for putting others before what you perceive as an injustice to yourself. Not everybody would do it including many posting on here if they found themselves in the same position one day.

So many people have been treated abysmally in this whole process, yet without the loyalty and determination of those very same people, we would not have a football club.

The next custodians would do well to remember that.

Thanks Tony.

Not sure how the decision means putting morals aside. For me it's the morally right decision for the club, the staff and the fans. Thank you for seeing sense.

I just wish to add that I was humbled and not intimidated into this decision and any thanks should go to Gary, Ian and the Green Taverners.

Good on you Tony. It's never easy to swallow your pride, but what you've done is in the interests of the club and will (hopefully) mean we continue to have an Argyle to support.
