Always be careful when negotiating with Panda's:

(In all seriousness though, PandA just need to realise that now isn't the time to play games and just sign the deal. It's not helping anyone by delaying).

What a disgrace!

The e-mail's gone but I should have reminded them the effect a couple of hundred protestors have had on St. Paul's. We can make that look like a school outing.

If they try to finish us they'll get it back ten-fold.

B'STARDS!! :furious:

E-mail sent:

Dear P&A Partnership

I am gravely concerned at the cavalier fashion in which your partnership and in particular Brendan Guilefoyle has handled and seems to continue to handle the administration for Plymouth Argyle FC.
It is quite evident that a significant amount of your time and money has been spent and wasted on pursuing the wrong bid (Bishop International Ltd).
In normal business you sometimes have to put down certain negative outcomes to experience.
It is immoral for you now to play games with peoples livelihoods. You must be well aware what an emotive issue this has been over the months.
If you insist on playing high stakes business poker by using deferrals to buy yourself further negotiation time on the back of Plymouth Argyle staff members and players, who have been through greater hardship in the past ten months than any of you well paid gentlemen, think again. You will do this in the glare of the media spotlight as the Green Army will become very visible in your vicinity. This will not go away quietly. To use strong arm tactics now will crown your tenure as administrators with shame. Bring this administration process to an end with decency (and I don't mean Liquidation).
Conclude the deal with Mr. Brent who has behaved decently and business-like from the start.

Any threat to liquidate by Guilfoyle is only that. I have been advised that a valid challenge to liquidation is one where the bidder can show it is ready willing and able to complete an acquisition on terms no worse than the administrator would get from a liquidation of the assets of the club. There is no way liquidation could realise the amounts James has offered to the Football Creditors.

Brendan - we have history but you ain't seen nothing yet. :furious:

To P&A

If you choose to put the staff in a position such that they are threatened that the club will be liquidated if they do not sign a further deferral, that is tantamount to blackmail and is beneath contempt.

Haven't the staff, players and supporters of this club suffered enough?

The facts are that this administration has been a catalogue of errors and ineffeciency:

You chose a bidder whose financial means were clearly questionable given even the briefest research and who the Football League were always likely to reject anyway given his involvement with another club.

You misled the public about the bidder's identity.

You repeatedly relaxed deadlines, stringing out the administration process, when it was clear that the bid was doomed.

You failed to pay the staff when there was money available until a player's strike was threatened.

You failed to keep the staff informed of developments and your public profile and presence at the club has been almost non-existent in recent months.

You sat back and effectively left the fan's trust to perform your duties by arranging a contingency plan that was ready to be mobilised when the inevitable happened.

You now seem to have passed responsibility for negotiating repayment terms with the football creditors to James Brent and his team. Surely such administrative duties should be within the remit of the administrator?

Can you honestly with hand on heart say that you have earned in excess of the sum that has been offered?

If you had contracted someone to build you a house 8 months ago and they had since spent 4 -5 months building someone else's, would you pay them for the entire period? Of course not.

You know that the cost to your reputation, which will be in tatters if you veto a deal that is 99.9 per cent complete, will be far in excess of the relatively small sum involved here.

A further deferral is futile as Akkeron have made it clear that this is their final offer.

This whole process has been a marathon and I am sure I speak for all fans when I say I am damned if I am going to give in now just a few feet from the finishing tape, so please do the sensible thing for all concerned and bring this fiasco to a satisfactory conclusion.

Sent another one:

Dear Brendan,

I have already sent you an email, but I do not think I will sleep well tonight so here is another. I will lie in bed awake, hoping to high heaven that you will sign the agreement. Please listen to a song I wrote about our beloved club via the link below as a sign of how much Argyle means to so many. Please do the right thing. Thank you.

If you can please do a quick summary and a cut and paste letter in a new thread, I'm sure we can get this out to other message boards. Let's let PandA know this doesn't just concern Plymouth fans, this concerns ALL football fans.

Do not under estimate the embarrassment (and media attention) caused by people outside their offices BTW.

FANS UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED

I don't post on here as much as I should... I have sent my emails and fingers crossed for a positive resolution tomorrow.

Good luck everyone and a big thank you to all those who have fought so hard for PAFC over the last year.

Keep it green
