WELL DONE EVERYONE , lets now roar them back up the table!

Time now to make the club professional again. The infrasructure, the investment etc

Time for all those who have stayed away 'under protest' to do the right thing and get back behind our beloved teram

Fantastic news - this is the thread I have been waiting months for.

A massive thank you to Mr Brent - lesser men would have given up long before now, but I guess that your tenacity and persistence are two of the qualities that make you the successful business man that you are. You and your team have clearly worked incredibly long hours to get this deal done in time to pay the staff. This must obviously have impacted on your family life and must have meant that your other business interests have been neglected to some degree. We are more grateful than you will ever know for what you have done. I am sure that under your measured, prudent leadership we can make steady progress in the right direction.

I must also mention the fan's trust who have been instrumental in saving the club. Chris, you have played an absolute blinder with your inspirational leadership and with keeping us informed. We may be bottom of League 2 but you have definitely been Premier League. No one could have done a better job and you should be very proud of your efforts. I would urge anyone who hasn't already joined to join the trust - there can be no good reason for not doing so, especially if it is now to have an input into the running of the club

Thanks for course also to the staff and players, all those who raised funds and those who contributed and pasoti.

Have just heard that Peter Ridsdale, who I personally have never had a problem with, is staying on as chairman. That means he is James Brent's choice, so let's forget what's gone before and not speculate over how much he may or may not be earning. Let's start with a blank canvas and get behind him.

Time for a bit of a celebration tonight I think, then to concentrate on matters on the pitch from tomorrow.

For all sorts of reasons this has been the worst year of my life, not least the demise of Argyle. I cannot be at Cheltenham tomorrow, as I have a Plymouth Poly reunion, but I will get well and truly hammered!

Onwards and Upwards!!

Hi Chris,

I just wanted to say a big heart felt thank you to you and to everybody else who as played their part in helping save Argyle from oblivion.

I remember the dark days, of our friend in Japan, chasing down the non-paying Directors. The bucket collectors braving the worst of our English weather collecting on behalf of the staff. The ‘outing’ of the weasel of Truro, caught with his pants down and plans in hand. Many unsung heroes have done their bit by camping out or suffering the abuse of loved ones due to facial hair growth etcetera. Least we forget and most of all, The Trust and its army, the green army (Pasoti).

As for the future, I strongly believe that with every negative a positive lies within. It has certainly made us all closer and not just passing acquaintances in the Stands.

Stuck out here in the Atlantic it is good to know that on my behalf and the behalf of others...Argyle lives to fight another day...Kudos and Resurgam.

Papa Bravo – Supporter of Argyle – First game = Bristol Rovers back in September 1982, hooked ever since.

As you can see Chris I do not post much, however I have been an Argyle season ticket holder for 30 years and have been following recent events via PASOTI , would like you to to know how much your efforts (and IJN,Taveners, etc) have been appreciated.

Well Done...pint on its way if we bump into eachother at an away game.

Block '15' Lad.
