Predictably there are many who will not want to give Ridsdale time to prove what he can do for us. As I see it, he's been a dedicated and hard working temporary chairman and has taken the bravest decision in football this year in replacing Peter Reid. That was a difficult but necessary move and was made with the club's interests in mind despite the barrage of criticism it was bound to bring.
Thankfully he is extremely thick skinned so all the attacks on here will mean nothing to him but for what it's worth he has my backing and I suspect the support of most Argyle fans who prefer the evidence of what they see rather than go along with the fashionable anti-Ridsdale feeling. As boss of the football side he is an excellent choice.
For all Ridsdale's previous failings, he has experience in dealing with agents/the FA/Other chairmen, vital if we are to get loan signings to keep us in this division. As long as he works WITH Fletch/Roo to bring in those needed to enhance our team, then I'm happy for him to stay. BTW we don't know what sort of contract the Riddler has. Maybe it's a temporary role?
