1st:
Carl Fletcher and Romain Larrieu are given full-time management roles.

Peter Ridsdale has issued the following statement on http://www.pafc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0 ... 57,00.html

Futher to the announcement of the takeover of Plymouth Argyle by James Brent and Akkeron Group, the Football League has confirmed that the football club has exited administration and regained their 'league share'.

As a result of the above, it is important that we clarify the position of the football management, who have been undertaking their responsibilities on an 'acting' basis since Peter Reid's departure in September. I am therefore delighted to announce that with immediate effect, Carl Fletcher is appointed player/manager of Plymouth Argyle Football Club and Romain Larrieu is confirmed in his position as player/coach.

Both Carl and Romain have impressed since taking temporary charge of first team duties and they have earned the chance to undertake their responsibilities on a permanent basis. Everyone at Argyle will work together to ensure that we give ourselves every chance of maintaining our Football League status.
Peter Ridsdale, Chairman, Football Operations.

Fletcher's first job as manager was to extend the loan of Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough until January 29.

Peter Ridsdale launches a new drive to sell season tickets at the same price, pro-rata, as they were at the start of the season.

Johnny Williams was taken from us very suddenly on the morning of Thursday 24th November 2011. We are all devastated and extremely shocked at his passing but have taken great comfort from the messages from so many Argyle supporters on this page.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle to family and friends, who all love and adore him without exception. A true gentleman, always kind and with a smile that could light up a room, he was – as you have all said - an exceptional footballer and he remains a champion in all of our hearts.

We hope you will join us in celebrating his life at the official memorial:
