Not sure anyone could deny someone else a free lunch.

Business entertainment is non deductible Tony, meeting or no meeting.

Exactly

Can anyone honestly see this happening under previous regimes?

It worth remembering Pasoti, all other fans sites and supporter groups were seen as trouble under all our previous owners and were never to be engeaged with. Tony Campbell was the first to realise that actually fans should have an input and that they could actually bring some value to their club and James Brent has carried it on.

After all the hard work they have put in, I don't think anyone could disagree with that.

This statement confused me though.

CPers, job done. Thanks.

In my opinion, all remaining three groups should be independent groups who work together.

GTs, fundraisers for whatever cause the fans want/agree with.

PASOTI, an independent (not the club) online community where we can talk about all thing Argyle (good and bad), plus other things (as it's original purpose).

The Trust, the elected, fan's mouthpiece.

I guess I've never been a "board worshipper". Just the club.

I hope that we win tomorrow!

 If we do not have a starting point when it comes to having dialog with the new owners, then how can we move forward as a trust? i welcome the CP having a meeting, hopefully to discuss the way forward for all concerned :scarf:

I hope they enjoy their lunch, James Brent obviously valued their contribution to the take-over process and this is a nice gesture and fully deserving. I assume they will be at the Buckerell Lodge which is not far from where I live so I may drop over and join them, I'm sure they have appreciated my helpful advice over the past few weeks.

IMHO the trust worked when it pulled fans together to hold the club owners to account & steamroll through a new ownership. To have too close a relationship with the clubs owners, weakens the trusts position.

As JV said - "all remaining three groups should be independent groups who work together".

Familiarity breeds contempt.

I hear they are partaking in moules marinieres, pate de foie gras, beluga caviar, eggs benedict, a leek tart, frogs' legs amandine and quail's eggs on a bed of mushrooms all mixed together in a bucket with the quail eggs on top and a double helping of pate followed by Jugged Hare, with a sauce of truffles, bacon, Grand Marnier, anchovies and cream finishing off with a wafer-thin mint

Is that the girl from Swansea who's providing the floor show?

Now that the takeover is complete, it'll be interesting to see if the "Trust" acts as an independent group representing supporters interests or merely as a conduit to pass the "Company line" from the owners down to the fans.
