A great gesture and thoroughly deserved. A club is nothing without its supporters and many of them are champions. Ian, thank you for everything you've done.

Thanks Ian, outta sight, but not quite out of mind.

Home to reality, pile of mail, answerphone at overflow, the cat determined to make us pay for leaving her and Im told the family are calling tomorrow and expecting me to cook for them all. After the match we paid one last visit to the Barbican and had fish and chips by the Mayflower Steps (from Harbourside, the best weve found down there!) and a final pint in the Dolphin.
