He's answered Mike, he can do no more.

The question will be asked, you can ask it in fact.

When people accuse the 'club' of having contempt, is that the old 'club' or the new one, if it is the new one, perhaps it would be a good idea to see what their reaction is first.

Mike - I responded saying it would be raised. What more do you want?

Ian
Perhaps I have missed something, I can't see any respopnse from Chris since the pensoiners issue was raised, it is obvious from reading the "plans" the pensioners were not worth considering, if I get the oportunity I will ask the question, the fact is because the question has to be asked, sums up the people JB is litening to.

Chris my last post was after your last post, never the less "because the issue will be raised only confirms my argument" the pensioners were not considered.

Chris patronising will get you no where, show me where I have a short memory, this other ADS or what ever they are called will be delighted with what they are reading. Be honest were the pensioners discussed when the so called plans were discussed.

Mike

You have a short memory because I would expect you to show me the same level of respect that I've always shown you rather than throw your toys out of the pram as soon as you got the answer you didn't want.

All sorts of things were discussed.

The issue was/is the Club are looking for quick introductions and alongside that have a more longer term strategy.

Given the amount of over 65 ST holders to reduce the age now would cause upset to those who have been forced to pay an adult rate. With that in mind the review of the pricing structure for OAPs is due to be discussed in the summer..........BUT as I have already posted I'll bring it up again!

Chris my respect for you will not change for what you have done to help save our club, my comments were based on the "plans" where there were no mention of pensioners, Wozzer brought the subject up showing an example of his parents, long term past, supporters who can no longer afford to watch Argyle, I put myself in their position, if I could not watch Argyle at least at home park, I would be devastated, thankfully I am not in that position.Hopefully in the future they will be considered alongside students and military personnel, not forgetting a lot of pensioners were in the military.

Wozzer re your parents....When we were in the CCC there were clubs that started OAP concessions at over 60 but in this league over 65 seems to be the norm.I take an interest because I am over 60 and under 65.In the 7 away matches I have been to this season I have yet to find an over 60's concession. Argyle's prices for OAP's are consistent with most clubs in this division.

"Under 65" - yeah right!

Putting my tin hat on. I'm a little puzzled by the need for service personel to be given a discount. Most are better paid than the average low paid worker in the South West. Saying that,I haven't a problem with giving service personel a discount as a show of gratitude, especially to personnel with life changing injuries.

When I see the increase the government wants my wife to pay into her pension scheme,I'll be demanding a discount for NHS staff. Maybe we should charge bankers double.
