Well, Ian and Chris, I'm sure you are very aware of how grateful so many people are for all your hard work. Plus, I got an article out it, which is an entirely selfish bonus.

I still say that should have remained an annual award..........

Who has the COTM award now?

I also got a little bit emotional after watching that BBC video - the highs of the promotion seasons and the Civic celebrations summing it all up but in contrast the lowest point in our club's history and showing the protest and Sue along with others' valiant efforts which saved our club.

Well done Sue, thoroughly deserved  :nworthy:  :nworthy:

Does anyobdy know if the BBC (or any other website accept YouTube) shows clips of our promotion season?

Humbled, I am, by what fans like Sue have done for our club. I've said this before - what you did means I can take my son to see Argyle into the future (whatever league we are in). How amazing is that:) You played a part in ensuring that not only do we survive, but new generations of fans can watch the Argyle and maybe bring their kids in the future.

IJN wrote: Sue, just a word of warning, but if you get this many 'slaps on the back' from a website, I'd be prepared for an emotional Saturday, if I were you.
I’ve heard tell there is something being planned for Saturday

It's brilliant to see the esteem in which people hold you it really is.
The fantastic support of messages that has come flooding in … I’ve been amazed and feel truly humbled by all the kind remarks that have been left on this thread. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think things would come to this … am truly stunned!! Thank you so much :nworthy:

As for Zee, she was going to be my second nomination for Fan of the Year, again, he quiet, almost shy way of going about things, is a great testament to her.
Yep, our Zee was involved with lots of things such as leafleting at the ground and in town, helping the Trust by walking around various parts of our city to deliver the certificates, collection bucket at the American Cup event, bag packing, selling the Forza Verde scarves, FV leafleting, seeing to the FV flag getting started and more  :nworthy:

I'd also like to 'chuck in' Lena, Carol and Sylvia, again, all tireless hard working ladies, who just get on with it.
As to our lovely Lena, Carol and Sylvia  :nworthy: … they certainly do warrant a HUGE mention as well, for what these lovely Ladies have done themselves, throughout the past year or so

Must be something about the female sex, that make them like that!! :nworthy: :nworthy:
GIRL POWER tis what it is!! :scarf:

Not mentioning various other names in my original THANK YOU post, has kind of left me feeling a bit embarrassed.

This was not intentional by any means, but at the time of writing what I did, the names mentioned in the original OP of ‘Thank you’ was based on a list of the volunteers that had helped with the bucket collections around the ground throughout last season and into the start of this one (seeing how the award / nomination highlighted the collections as a big thing) … so my sincere apologies if anyone felt a bit ‘let down’ if their name wasn’t mentioned …

The list other people I have worked alongside with various things is long (and also deserve a mention) …

From the Trust … Chris Webb, Peter Ryan, Lee Jameson, John Petrie, Tim Chown, Wozzer, Leigh Rapson, Andy Symons, Sally Snow, Margaret Carn …

Pasoti-ites … Ian, Tony, Greengenes, pilgrim Steve, Allen, Steve (dolygray), Club 92, Pete and many more…

The Senior Greens … Rob and Sylvia, Mike (Dunlop)

The Green Taverners … Mark, Gary, Bill, Tim, Kev, John, Damon, Carol, Lena and the young Green Taverners (Matt, Pilgrim Pete, CJay, Emma, Charlie, Harry, Liam and others whose names evade me at the moment)

The youngsters from the Green Army … Mike Trigger, Chloe, Sarah, Brad, Dave, Tom (and again, apologies to those I can’t remember the names of) ….

Volunteers for the bucket collections as already listed, with some of those members like Bob, Al and Tom also involving themselves with many other things such as car boots, bag packing, leafleting in town and around the ground, raising money for the Argyle Ladies, Marches, vigils …

And I’m sure there are a lot more people I have worked alongside that I have maybe forgotten to mention as well (sorry if so … my head is trying to think of all of your names).

The list truly is endless … without forgetting other people too such as Graham, Ian De Lar, Peter Jones to name but a few … and of course THE GREEN ARMY (both near and far) for joining in with petitions, meetings, vigils, marching, donating, green card protests and so much more

   :nworthy: :nworthy:

All in all …. Great support from great supporters of our beloved P.A.F.C :scarf:

I think I'll go now before Tony and Stewthenoo  come along again to tell me they're worn out again
