The man of last night (and this season) has announced his 'retirement' to me this morning.
It's been an amazing effort from the man, I won't give your the total on here, because he's asked me not to, but an incredible 12 months from the man.
His last act, was to become the primary sponsor of the GT's Legend event, and then, he immediately passes all the perks to St Luke's Hospice.
During his time with us, he's passed a £1000 Pele shirt to a childrens charity on Dartmoor, another £2000 shirt was donated to a Downs Syndrome Charity, he's also allowed myself and the GT's to donate shirts to the charity of our choice, which has been an honour.
Even last night, he gave the Mythical Orange (which I will now call it) to a fellow Pasoti'ite, who to say the least, is bowled over by that action.
My favourites were the £200 he paid for a white GT badge, and some smelly old tee shirt signed by Chris Webb for £1000!!
The man has been an absolute superstar, he has avoided any limelight, he wants no plaudits (but he's having some today!!).
He has promised to attend the GT Legends event, so, perhaps, we can get him to take a bow, on the 26th May, but I doubt he will.
Nick, you will go down in the annals as the 'mystery man'.
Please people, add to this thread, add your thanks to this man, so we can place this in the 'Story so Far' forum.
I'll miss our PM's mate, that's for sure. I'm the only one knows his real name, I'm the only one who knows where he lives, and I'm the only one that knows what he has done (much in the background) for our club.
You sir, are a total star.
