Gawd this is boring but I'm trying to draw a line. With apologies to the majority of contributors (who have probably deduced this anyway), here is a broad definition of my political persuasion just for BG as he's so keen to tease it from me:
- I believe those who try hardest deseve their success - almost but not quite a meritocracy.
- I am less forgiving on inherited wealth - to a degree.
- I believe in giving back - I passionately believe in helping those in need.
- I don't believe in helping those who just can't be arsed, but do believe in trying to persuade them otherwise.
So, in summary that probably has me centrist leaning towards the right the majority of the time, but often in touch with my softer side - growing up as I did in a working class, typically Labour supporting household. I'd suggest my posting history reveals this anyway as my Dad pointed out a couple of posts above .
Line drawn for everyone's sake (I hope BG?).
