He is in a privileged position, do not alienate your fan base, do not pi$$ them off and recognise you're not the special one, you're the manager of a professional football club, you're not the owner.

Why does he have to be humble?
Ridiculous suggestion. He’s a football manager ffs.

He was correct and brave to come out in public and attack the thugs. Thuggery is on the rise around the world and it’s damaging for the Argyle brand of if we’re perceived to have our quota. It takes the club back years. Look at the incidents of racism at high profile games this season. It’s the same thing. These incidents need to be stamped out before they get out of hand and thank we have a manager wise enough to realise this.

You haven’t been made aware of the rise in far right thuggery (and terrorism) and racism in the UK, the US and in most of Europe, where it’s heavily attached to football?

What did the thugs actually do at the game when Adams made that statement? Shout a bit, boo?
Banding words like thuggery around sounds a bit melodramatic. We aren't all lackeys.
