It will be ratified in Mexico 2010. USA backed down on their demands for monitoring. Every country will have to give a rapport every 2 years to the UN covering their CO2. Not what most were hoping for.

Yeah,right. I bet the U.S.A,and possibly China/India too,will start to moan later on down the line. Unless all Countries agree to sustained action to prevent what most Scientists all agree on,then there is no hope at all.
On the news the other night,a report stated that America would only react when it sees climate change on its own doorstep. They have had some strange weather patterns these last few years,but are slow to do anything about it. It would seem that the Bush philosophy of econmoy/employment/prosperity still prevails over there?.
