I find it very worrying that people would be so unintelligent they need to be told that murder is wrong. I get my morals from considering the consequences of my actions upon other people. I don't need to be told it's wrong.
So what does your moral code say about your somewhat condescending attitude towards those who are religious?
"Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh". Apologists always tend to twist things and put the bible in a context that conveys with their view of the bible. In exodus 21 it says you can beat your slave and it will go unpunished as long as they don't die within 24 hours.
Exodus was written some 500 years before the time of Christ. Attitudes were different then. Doesn't make them relevent come the 1st Century, or in today's society.
