Well done to Pasoti members Sam and Josh who took part in their first local elections for the Green Party.

Josh stood in the Budshead ward and came fourth and Sam was sixth in Eggbuckland.

Yep, well done. Whatever your politics, it needs young and old to be engaged.

A tense and hostile evening - admittedly not a great one for the Greens but fascinating to watch such intense local politics unfold, and must about 75% of people either had no idea or didn't vote at all! Mad when you think about it like that.
