That's not what I asked. As it stands - and I really can't see the EU budging one inch here - if we want access to the free market, we have to accept freedom of movement. If we want controlled immigration - that's fine: they'd be happy to discuss trade agreements, tarrifs, quotas, etc with each and every member state as soon as we invoke Article 50.
The UK won't get what we want. So if it came down to it - controlled immigration or access to the single market - which one will it be?
