The world has turned upside down.

This week we saw communist China extolling the virtues of free trade and global cooperation. Now the biggest capitalist country on Earth inaugurates a man who hates ‘globalisation’ and is Hell-bent on a protectionist, America-first policy. China (which once didn’t give a stuff about anything or anyone in its rush for modernisation) is now championing environmentalist issues as the effects of their industrialisation dawn on them......... just as the new American President dismisses climate change as a hoax created by the Chinese
Smarter people than I have been total idiots - and I've met them all.

Sadly, it would appear that he has survived the first few hours of his Presidency!

I saw a cracker the other day and it would have cocked him up completely!

All the palaver about him being the 45th President yada, yada, yada. Had President Obama resigned a month ago, Joe Biden would have automatically become the 45th President making Trump the 46th.
There is no argument to equal a happy smile!

He'll be impeached before the year is out.

Saw this letter in the local paper.

Prophetic

Normally I don't believe in precognition but my scepticism was stretched when I came across the following quote from American journalist H.L Mencken who, nearly a century ago, penned these prophetic lines in the Baltimore Evening Sun ; " 'As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day,the plain folks of this land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and a complete narcissistic moron".

I read in one of the US papers, that the instant he became President he broke the law.

Why? Because he refuses to get rid of his business interests. He maintains that by handing over the reins to his son, that qualifies. Apparently it doesn't. The law states that he must 100% divest himself of business interests.

Has Putin been invited to invade Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Germany yet?

Trump is a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment, the right for people to keep and bear arms.

The NRA backed Trump as their candidate,it would be ironic if his presidency was cut short by a bullet.
I once had a job painting the white lines down roadways, but i packed it in before i went round the bend.
