Now that we have had over 6months to digest the Britex vote and beginning to see a clearer picture of the pros and cons of such a move, maybe we need to put in an alternative to the Soft or Hard Britex currently being touted as the two options.
Brit remains the third option: GB to propose remaining in a newly formulated EU, joining forces with other countries where there are serious reservations with the Status Quo. (France, Netherlands, Germany etc).
Issues to be considered:
1/ Replace the Euro MP with a parliament drawn from the EU national governments.
2/ Movement of labour between countries to be controlled by work permit system
3/ Major financial providers to have additional rights
4/Tighter control of banks within the Euro
The existing two options can only end in lower living standards in the UK, also if Trump succeeds in his aims the effect on the global economy overall will be disastrous.
