May I politely request that this gets moved to "OPINIONS" as it has sweet bugger all to do with Argyle.
Seconded, with church bells on, off to 'opinions' please
On the subject of respect.
It ticked me off this morning having two people enter the grounds of Smiffy Towers with the express intent to convert me to their particular slant on religion (they never got as far as saying which).
We, all of us smile politely, decline their indoctrination and they shuffle off next door but inside you're left annoyed. I mean, who are they to decide we're wholly misguided in how we conduct our lives and lacking something only they can give. When you think about it, that's really quite insulting. But we all shrug it off, meh, whatever.
Now, if atheists were to go door to door asking Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists etc to give up their beliefs and embrace Darwinism....man there would be some serious sparks.
Frankly spiffy I normally enjoy your comments, but this is codswallop.
