Heard “We are the champions “ on the radio today. Brought back That QPR match 2004. The sea of flags, the pre match tension, Sparkesy’s classic commentary “Frio! That’s it. Argyle are up!” And the banner on the bridge on Outland Road.
Got all sentimental.

What a fantastic afternoon. That's why I love football - still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Nice to see Gareth Ainsworth on the losing side again btw.

PS: we need someone to dub Sparksy's Radio Devon commentary over the TV highlights - anyone?

Oh those were happy days.

Can you imagine having players of their standards now. We were so lucky to watch that squad go through the divisions and mix it with the championship big boys.

When Frio broke through I remember almost having a heart attack in the Demport.

I have a radio clip of Triggers last game as well against Ipswich when he scored. I wish I could post it because it is superb from Sparksy.
