Callum Connolly, Beni Baningime, Dennis Adeniran, Nathan Broadhead and Josh Bowler are all expected to go out on loan from Everton U23s. Connolly is the only defender and they are all Championship + level so would be great signings

I suspect we will need cover at the back, firstly because the defence has been poor, secondly because we will be without a key defender for a couple of weeks. Callum Connolly, would fit the bill

I’d take a guess at Aimson.

I agree - Aimson is our only key defender. Huge blow if he's ruled out, both for the team and the player himself after all his injury issues.

Irrespective of who is unavailable for tomorrow , it seems unlikely RL was primarily watching defenders as Opoku was at the Club training on Tuesday .
