I agree yesterday was flat. Combination of sun, cider and sitting! We were in one of the front rows and had to sit to respect the people around us. I'm not getting into that debate again but it's just not physically possible to generate a good noise in such circs (other than out your arse!).
Having said that the team gave the fans nothing. It was a terrible performance. Northampton did to us what we did to teams when we were fighting to stay in the league.
Credit to the NTFC fans....they did the same.
Rochdale are in the same position. But they are feeling the pressure of games running out and have injuries and tired players. There'll be a smaller less vociferous home crowd, and a smaller more vociferous away crowd....Argyle need to turn it on, whoever is on the pitch, and remember the fans that have trekked hundreds of miles on a Tuesday night.
