Just a quick question? Was yesterday's team good enough to play the likes of Aston Villa or Wolves? Even if Taylor was available?

Obviously not, but is Blackburn's or Shrewsbury's teams considering they both lost to us?

Iā€™ve seen a couple of games at Trashton Gate this season and the step up is a big one.

It may well be too soon but there is no guarantee of promotion in any other season either so fingers crossed that we make it up. A large proportion of the squad will change for next season whatever happens so plenty of opportunity to upgrade for a higher league.

You're right, let's hope we lose every game until the end of the season.

We haven't even made the play offs yet and already you are worrying about the quality of the squad. A few months back and everyone would have settled for a top half finish as being a solid start to life in league 1. No matter what players a club has, fans will always see weaknesses. e.g man city fans will want improvement because they will not win Champions league, will Wolves fans think their squad is up to playing Premier League?.
Whether we get promoted or not there will be (hopefully) improvement to the squad in order to progress. A club like ours must do it gradually because of financial constraints, and I'm sure the manager and the board are already planning ahead. The step up to Championship quality is far greater the that of lge 2 to lge 1, so we will have to be patient.
I for one am enjoying this season immensely, the elation when we play well and win as well as having a good old moan when we don't do so well. That's the joy of being an Argyle supporter.
