Alex Battle two from two, stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Jephcott one of our better players, really pleased for him well earned goal.

Joe Seery, vaguely had heard the name but couldn’t tell him from Adam, genuinely initially thought he was a new full pro signing, held his own and certainly didn’t look out of place. Now knowing he is a first year apprentice, very impressed.

Good seeing Jake Miller play again and whilst happy for the win, I thought it was a closer game then the score line reflects, their goal very powerful header, thought their keeper did well and for large periods it looked like a draw would be a fair result.

Can’t help but think that two seasons ago we would have really dominated that game, doubled the goal tally, (nothing against Batts or Fletch, they only come on at HT/second half sub and the one with most time on the field still scores!) Callum Dyson will inevitably end up getting chances before they do but on the basis of that, he certainly doesn’t deserve it IMHO.
