Anyone know why we signed him when he didn’t get on the pitch when Ness was injured.?

Not trying to be critical, just welcome a discussion.

Seems an odd signing in terms of being similar to Fox, Ness and Grant in style but no better.

We needed a decent loan signing to add something to midfield but O’Keefe does not, from what I have seen so far, to add anything much. Another wage with questionable benefit.

The two times I have seen him I was not impressed. He went missing both games.

I'd think quite the opposite.

I think it’s the role of which they’re asked to play. There seems to be a void in that position when Grant plays it as well.

Can go either way but a rot of this nature is insurmountable for a single individual

Toums did last year in similar circumstances.

Blimey I was about to answer the same.

Probably different types of players though

Interestingly didn’t he go to Fleetwood for family reasons and then get bummed out and ended up further away anyway?

He’s another outstandingly average player

Typically a player who has something different excels in a poorly performing team and either lifts those around him (e.g. Toums) or sinks to that level. It's normailsation in either direction - but there is usually some sort of immediate impact.

He's been a regular in teams better than ours before. I'd be surprised if he's any worse than Songo'o.

Is O'Keefe a defensive, holding, attacking or box to box midfielder, please define? I have only seen him against Blackpool when he gave little or no help to Riley in his terrible first 20 mins.

Song'o is getting unnecessary criticism on Pasoti, if we had 11 specialist in all positions on the field of his ilk we would be in the top 7.
