And that's not just watching the poor football....

JB is on the way out as Chairman. He won't sack Adams

Felwiick isn't coming. He can't sack Adams

Hallett (majority owner and new number one, but self proclaimed better as a number two!).
He won't sack Adams.

The Board, including the new directors say nothing.

They may believe in Adams 100%

Adams may believe in Adams 110%!

The players may believe in Adams 90%?

The fans believe in Adams 20%?

Those in a position to do something about it need to stop believing and take actions! It's called leadership.. on and off the pitch.

The problem with the PAFC board for me is where is the football expertise?

Simon H has invested a lot of money into our club, but as far as I am aware has no experience of working within this industry. Michael Dunford has a football based Cv but......have any of our Directors much experience of football?

The fans... lower than 20% I reckon.

Our board is made up of diverse and business minded set of directors remember.

Which is all well and good until situations like we now find ourselves in.

No footballling background what so ever and all Very silent on the matter right now. Not even the dreaded vote of confidence.

We’re doomed.

james brent is the current chairman of argyle.he should call an emergency meeting for today to discuss the next first team coaches.we were appalling yesterday and the responsibility lies with derek and wooton, nance, wilmot and osbourne. .james brent is rewarded handsomely for what he does and should now reward us long suffering fans by appointing a fit and proper management team. :furious:

I feel sorry for Hallett. Just been made Captain when the ship is starting to sink while others have already abandoned it.

Why are people fixated about the Board having football nous. When did we last have that? Oh yes Gardener wasn’t it, ex director of Man Utd. That ended well didn’t it! Football is a business. What you need on the Board is successful businesspeople. The Board delegates football knowledge to the Manager. That’s what he’s paid for. If the Manager doesn’t cut it then the Board should sack him. That doesn’t take an encyclopaedic knowledge of football!

As has been said before by those who have some insight - DA has an almost teflon like status at the club.

Remember, he's Head of Football, or something, so as good as Director of Football.

Look at the businesses you work in. There will be people on the Executive who have come up through the industry / sector and Non-Executives who bring wider product knowledge or specialist skills.

Where's the football expertise and challenge at Argyle? Or the Director who can act as a sounding board / mentor to DA? It's DA talking to DA!

If I was Hallett the first thing I would be doing was going out to get a Fry, Perryman, Hammond type character on the Board.

Neil Warnock will probably be available before Xmas - he can do both jobs in the short term and then take his seat in the Directors' Box!

That’s not how the most successful modern clubs are run. Even a control freak like Pep has Txiki Begiristain above him at City.

There are parallels between us and Manchester United in that there is no-one above the manager who has any input or overall control of the football side.

Michael Dunford does not reassure me as a forward thinking, successful leader of a football club in 2018.

Barry Fry as a sounding board? Why not just get Krusty the Clown.....

I went to a Brexit Leave Means Leave meeting in Torquay yesterday afternoon as I thought it was in relation to Derek Adams, when I saw the result I wished it was!!

If we'd have waited another week to sack Fletcher we'd have almost certainly been relegated to non league. I hope we're more proactive this time, but something tells me that Adams will get even more time than Fletcher did.
