Hello Pasoti peeps and welcome to your 50/50 brief. Senior Greens took a coach up to Oxford along with our special guest for the day James Brent. Everyone had a great day out until the game itself started when the team struggled against a fired up Oxford team who wanted it more than we did and with two former players scoring against us it made matters even worse. At the moment we are lacking a bit of confidence but with two home games now let’s hope we can return to winning ways and get the season started. The Green Army are with you lads - after all we are all in it together - so come on, you can do it. :scarf:
At the Peterborough match young Leanne Carribine won the first cash prize of £664 and was well pleased. Leanne told me that along with her Dad, they buy 50/50 tickets every game and they shared the winnings equally between herself, Dad and son Josh. Josh spent some of his share on a Nintendo Switch. Leanne and Dad have already earmarked their winnings for going towards their season tickets for next year. Well done folks that’s great forward planning.

A lot of supporters are asking about 50/50 seller John Beynon who has missed a couple of games lately. Apart from the stroke John had in 2016, the poor lad has just had heart surgery, but the good news is John is on the way back to fighting fit. He hopes to be back at his second home - the Theatre of Greens - in the near future. John asked me to send a special thank you message to all supporters for their help and kind comments. Get well soon mate the whole 50/50 team and supporters wish you a speedy recovery.
