Don’t see it as a reward, I see it as getting the group together to bond and work on new things. Mentally the players may need it to get the confidence back. I think it would help us psychologically. Also if we’e signed any new players in Jan it would give them a chance to feel part of the squad.

The bonding in Holland in preseason worked well! Nothing to do with confidence, poor players will be the same regardless of how warm the weather is.
