First game of the 2009/10 season was at Crystal Palace, arrived after a 24 hour flight from Melbourne, watched the game with extremely bad jet lag, got back to the hotel after the game and slept for 18 hours. We drew 1-1.

I remember being able to walk to an away game once a year. Who was to foresee that administration was les than 12 months away?

I can remember Sawyer scoring against Barnsley on the last day, and we stayed up because Norwich lost I think. We were really bad and fortunate to stay up that season.

It's hard to believe that just over 11 years ago we were fourth in the Championship and 4 points away from an automatic promotion place.

Yep I was there sat next to IJN and Daz....very good match which we could have won.Its going to be a long long time before we play Palace again in the league,they progressed and despite being pilgrims and with ten years down the road we have not ....now whose fault was that....
