A very fussy 5 from me. Seemed to let the obvious go but then picked up the non essential.

How many times did Pompey walk up the touchline for throw ins?

7 from me. Too lenient, but did nothing to really enrage me.

His only significant mistake, in my view, was giving the free kick that led to our goal. Looked like a clean tackle to me.

Awful. Missed so many obvious free kicks and gave a 0erfectpy good tackle as a foul for our goal. Dreadful.

I felt that he tried to let the game flow and considering the vociferous 12k baying at him on a regular basis, I thought he did ok. Other than the two mistakes I can think of (the free kick for us that led to our goal and not producing the second yellow for their #26 kicking the ball away) he had a pretty decent game - 7 from me.

And there I was thinking that kicking the ball away was meant to be a yellow card nowadays.

Portsmouth player, from inside his own half, wallops it into the Devonport End. No booking.

That comically bad moment aside, he was fine, although lacking a little in consistency. 6/10.

Thought also he had a very good game, best we have seen this season,

Missed nothing, ok he might have shown a second yellow, to Evans, but he was very good, shows that he is on the Select 2 level.
