Man ejected for "Alleged" Racist slurs

Noted a Man at the back of block 7 ejected by multiple stewards yesterday for allegedly making racist slurs towards a black player? The crowd around him mentioning he used the B work towards one of the Pompy players. The Man left without a word of protest it needs to be added. I am not assuming his guilt, just stating the situation as it happens.

If so, 2 things.

Firstly, well done the fans around him for raising this with the stewards. Exactly what we need to see, and after all the disgusting racism at recent events such as Milwall and at Chelsea, its refreshing to know we wont stand for that behaviour in our stands.

Secondly, I hope the club take all possible course against the person. A lifetime ban would not be beyond suitable punishment in my opinion (after a full investigation to the incident of course) I also hope they publicise the event so as to show Argyle and its fans just wont stand for racism.

Mods, feel free to remove if you feel the club need to comment of the alleged incident first

Well done the Stewards!

Not the first time someoneā€™s been booted out from Home Park this season for that either.

The idiocy of some people is astounding. This is 2019 FFS.

It's hard to believe that someone can follow football and still being racist.

When was the last time any team in the English Leagues contained an "all-white" eleven ?

Well done to those involved in having him removed.

Nope, it was B bxstxxd apparently.

Not that it matters either way. Applause to the club for acting as they did.

I fear we may see more of this. The other B word has emboldened the racists and we see evidence of this not just at football grounds. Well done Argyle!

If he was ejected and it was a racist comment the stewards have acted entirely incorrectly, racism is a crime and if identified during the game with witnesses this should have been brought to the attention of the police and is a criminal matter, potentially an opportunity lost.
The B word isnā€™t in itself racist ā€˜B b***aĀ£rdā€™ most definitely is and has absolutely no place in our society

I was near the ejection but didn't know what was happening but I'm pretty sure I saw a policeman waiting down at pitch level as he left.

I was sat 3 rows in front of him. He was very very loud during the game right up to the point of ejection.
When Bogle went over on the pitch, the guy screamed 'get up you b___ c____.
I looked around and could see that fans around were horrified. There were quite a few kids around us as well.
He was escorted down to a copper about 10 mins later. Very good to see. No place for that at a football ground nor in society.

Entirely appropriate ejection by sound of it, good to see.
Pretty certain if handing out life bans for verbal statements, the content of them matters though.
And it is confusing when a large countryā€™s leader can be found to have said similar things, but face no consequences. Although such a country has solved racism anyway, after electing its first black leader, under dreamgreenā€™s logic.

I echo the above, thatā€™s exactly what he said. He goes to more than just the big games too and every single one he runs his mouth off.
As we left the ground on the final whistle he was still talking to the police within the metal barriers behind the temporary changing rooms.
Iā€™m hoping he gets banned.
