The latest Argyle news and gossip.

Derek Adams confirms Joe Mason will not be signing for Argyle and has other offers from League One and Two clubs .....
"He has offers from other clubs in our division and the division below. We put an offer to him, but it's not going to happen for us.
"I spoke to the agent and he has better offers in other places.

"We are looking for somebody to give us added depth in that area, we're probably one player short at this moment in time.
"We didn't think Joel Grant would be out towards the end of the season, we thought his injury would have healed, but he's had to go for an operation now."

Derek Adams gives an injury update ...
"Joel Grant was obviously out for a month, tried to come back and it didn’t work. He got the muscle operation where they fix it back on to the tendon, and now he’s at home for this moment in time. He can’t do anything for a couple of weeks, he’s on crutches, and then he’ll come back in to try to get fit.
“It was a straight-forward operation, but the problem is the length of the rehabilitation. It was similar to the Kyle Letheren operation last season and it was the same surgeon who operated on them both.”

“Conor Grant and Jamie Ness will probably train next week. They’ve been out obviously for a long period of time and they’ll be back in next week.
“They’ve been progressing with the medical staff. It’s been a long time out for them, and hopefully when they come back in, they’re ready to go.

“Antoni sarcevic is training today, he obviously played through 90 minutes against Portsmouth. He had a scan on the knee to see if there was any damage and he had a little bit of swelling on the back of the knee, but he was fortunate it wasn’t a serious injury.”

Derek Adams talks about Oscar Threlkeld and his lack of games ...
"It’s difficult for him because David Fox, Yann Songo’o and Antoni Sarcevic have been in very good form.
We moved Graham Carey back into midfield for the Peterborough game.
Speaking to Oscar, he just has to improve his game to try and get into the side. At this moment in time he is obviously behind the four of them.
He has to keep on moving ahead and try and get himself into the starting 11."
