The seasons 1924-25 and 1925-26 were just about identical in terms of opposition, results and position in the table - second again, of course! - but in one respect they were quite different.

24-25 Goals for 77 - Goals against 38
25-26 Goals for 107 - Goals against 67

So the question is....what did the attack seemingly adapt to more successfully than the defence?

An inspired guess by The Doctor who's got it right in a record time of 3 mins!

The 'new' and still largely ( 'level' on or off decisions aside) surviving off-side rule involving 2 players was introduced replacing the previous 3 players requirement.
