Match report

Argyle are ball number 8 in the draw for the Second Round of the FA Cup which takes place on Monday at 7pm live on BBC2.

Ryan Lowe talked about the win ....
“I’m very pleased with the game-management. Where we’ve been conceding goals, and it might still happen, it was fantastic to respond.
“We’ve worked on it and we’re all learning every day. The game-management and the football we played today was fantastic.

“It was a good performance, first and foremost, and a very good win. Obviously, we had to dig in during the second half because they went from back to front quite quickly and we withstood that.
“The overall performance and the levels of the boys was fantastic. We knew this would be a tough place to come and not an easy ride for anyone in League One, but I thought the best team won.

“We’re always wanting to improve and there were times, when we were passing through the lines, that we looked a very good team. It was a great goal and we should have had another one.”
