Purrington and Peck had a bit of presence at the back. Randall kept things ticking over and was probably our best player. Lolos and Fletcher could never seem to get things going and both struggle badly with holding the ball up, particularly Fletcher. Not sure where he goes from here. Doesn't have the pace and power to beat a man. Any move he seems to get involved in only ever seems to break down. Jephcott didn't do much.
Probably played the ball too long at times instead of building up the play to the frontmen. Only players who didn't really show anything for me were Taylor, Burdon and Jarvis Cleal. Looked extremely ordinary.
In the second half in particular we seem to be playing the strikers out of position with both Fletcher and Lolos out wide and Jephcott in the middle. Lolos is definitely not a wide player.
The other difference was that Fulham our muscled us, we needed to be a bit stronger and win more of the 50/50s.
I believe it will be announced over the weekend that Neil Dewsnip is now called Director of Football.
Also heard that Paul Atkinson has left, will find out on Sunday if he is absent.
