Missed a lot. Easily swayed for the red which was obviously a yellow.

He was not good. Think he got the red right as Sawyer was not in control of his challenge at all. He didn't really catch the player but that was more through luck than design. If he had caught him then I think he would have damaged him badly. The reaction of their #4 was was really out of order and he fully deserved his booking.

I thought he was excellent. Red card looked about right to me, although far from the worst in the world. He let a lot go allowed the game to flow, which I always value in a referee.

Thought he was okay. A little whistle happy at times. Need to see the sending off again but others think Sawyer was off the ground.

I thought the ref was excellent and tried to let the game flow.

Wasn't in a great position to see the sending off, but other than that, one of the better refs I've seen.

He was never going to send Sawyer off in a month of Sundays until their players (over)reacted.
Player was going across Sawyer's leg, Sawyer did not go 'through' him in any way, the player fell over his leg. Too quick for him. Bad tackle. Free kick, yellow card ... until they persuaded the ref that it was a bad one.
Because of that: I'm out.
Poor ref. Going nowhere.

He was hoodwinked by the Newport Posse on the red card, they have a well rehearsed act by the look of it.

Other than that, I thought he did reasonably well.

Thought he was OK. Whistle happy and went a period blowing every time a player went down for nothing.

The lino on Lyndhurst side was appalling today, flagged blatent dives and fouls and couldn't keep up.

He was never a 'home' referee, the Newport players and management were getting into his space a lot. He was giving soft free kicks, players falling over with the slightest touch. He missed a lot of reckless pushing and shoving. The red was a totally wrong, he reacted to the Newport aggressive demands.
