I don't know if it just me, but there seems to be more very late goals this season (to date) than I can remember in previous seasons.

From the 85th minute onwards there have been 15 in Argyle's games. This thought obviously promoted by Ryan's goal on Tuesday.

For the record (courtesy GoS) …
Argyle 8 goals
Crewe - Fadz 90
Salford - Telford 89
Walsall - Taylor 88
Carlisle - Sarce 90
Morecombe - C Grant 90
Stevenage - Canavan 90+6
Mansfield - Hardie 90+1
Salford - Hardie 90+2

Opponents 7 goals
Reading 87 and 90
Crawley 85
Cheltenham 90 +1
Scunthorpe 90 +3
Chelsea 90
Crawley 90

There's a Guy near us who always leaves when the Board goes up. He's missed several Goals over the Years, it's now got to the point where if we need a Goal, he's activley encouraged to go !

It would be interesting to see similar statistics for Crewe.

They, frequently, seem to get late goals. Certainly, recently.

Pretty sure we were told that scoring last goals was a trademark of Lowe's Bury side. Not sure about conceding them, though!

I think it’s illustrative of the fact we do not often sit on one or two goal leads and how we are still susceptible in the break or from set pieces when ahead. Gone are the days under DA where we would park the bus at 1-0 after a goal in the first 20 minutes.

It wasn’t so good when when Crawley scored their late equaliser though...

He'll still take the Credit for it though :)

Yet another Pasoti myth or perhaps people rewriting history.
Interestingly after 31 games in the promotion 2016/17 season Adams’ team had scored more goals then the current team.
So who is parking the bus Adams or Lowe?

Absolutely not a myth, and if you don't think Adams ever parked the bus from kick-off then you either never attended games under him or you did so wearing a blindfold until half-time.

I can still remember us playing Coventry at home last season when we set up solely to nullify them from minute 1 to minute 45. We eventually won the game thanks to Ruben, but only after we'd dodged a gargantuan first-half bullet.

That was just one example, but it happened often. DA's methodology was to keep things tight in the first-half before loosening the leash during the break. It was frustrating, mind-numbing stuff.

Thankfully we no longer have to watch our team set up at home against lower-league teams like we're playing Barcelona.
