How about giving George who always delivers, the title of Mr Postman. He has turned out to be a great loan signing and a possible permanent. I am sure the 'Demport Enders' could create a great song from the Beatles 'Please Mr Postman'.
Ian Poulter has this distinguished Ryder Cup title for the European team and I think George is deserving of this accolade.

There’s nothing more nauseating than ‘GMac’ and ‘Rosey’ referring to ‘the postman’ around Ryder Cup time though.

We really do need some songs for players though. I can remember growing up singing songs about all the players.

Yep. The only one I remember is “ he’s here he’s there he’s every bleeping where Johnny Hore Johnny Hore” but that was a year or two ago now!

... and the most appropriate replacement surely has to be Byron Moore?

Surely that's a song about a postman who HASN'T delivered

Please Mister Postman look and see
Is there a letter in your bag for me?
You know its been such a long long time
Since I heard from that boyfriend of mine

There’s a Ryan Hardie chant to the tune of the Jason Bent chant that needs a tweak...

Ryan Hardie came from Blackpool to play for Argyle x 3
And this is what we sing
Who the f is Jamie Vardy x3
When we’ve got Ryan Hard-ee-ee (needs work)

So it's a chorus of: Luke Jephcott, he's one of our own! He's one of our oo-oo-oown! :scarf:

Followed by: Ryan Hardie, we've got him on loan! We've got him on lo-oo-oo-oan :scarf:

(Second one works for The Postman too!).

Ryan Hardie's havin' a party! Not original but it works.

Or, to the tune of Super Trouper:
Super Cooper
Sends the crosses in there
And he scores some too
He plays in green not blue
We're going to League One with you
:coat:

Given that Byron plays a number of positions well it’s quite a fitting song for him..
