Sky Sports subscription

For anyone who hasn't yet got around to shelving their sports subscription, Sky are offering customers the chance to pause their sports packages until they've got live sport to offer again.

You still get to keep the channels, you just don't pay for them.

I just did it online - waited a while in a virtual queue but has saved me £32 a month.

Gotta be honest I had no idea how much I was paying for Sports, and I'm a bit puzzled as to why you were paying so much less. Something to do with Q/multi-room maybe?

I'll definitely be asking the question when my subscription resumes.

Should never be anything like £32.00 mate.

I have Sky Q, 3 boxes, Kids, Movies, Netflix, Sports and Music and I pay £80.00 on a 18 month contract.

If you don’t keep threatening to leave Sky at the end of every offer period they will happily screw you £32 is way too much

That sounds about right though? Sky sports probably is about £32 of an £80 a month contract.

Blenheim New Zealand.
In New Zealand Sky are offering me free movie channel for 3 months to compensate for lack of live sport.
No idea what the offer would be if movies was currently in my package.

Yes but this must have been a new customer subscription like a friends and family deal 18 month only I had it when you cancel it trying to Get the same deal you will get nowhere near that minimum you’d get the closest to that is 30% increase.
We went from £65 a month multi room every channel 6 sky go’s didn’t have bt sports though.
Anyway that finished and it doubles managed to get them down to £96 then the annual increase happened so when to £103 been annoyed for so long then seen all these lads get firestick sand watching I follow games so paid £50 for the fire stick I get everything including the I follow all for £50 a year oh and includes fillms in the cinema.
I now pay £37 a year for the basic package which includes lots no sports or movie but you do get sky sports news and kind renter and broadband.
So by paying £50 for that I’ve saved myself £792

I was up to about £105 a month and went on and added ‘Sky Children’ for my Granddaughter. It then told me on screen that my new monthly payment would be £110. I was shocked.

I rang them, told them I was going to Virgin for £82 pcm and in minutes they had reduced me to £75.

Since then they increased it to £80 pcm through their annual increases.

I’ve been with Sky since week one of them being in existence.

Cancelled mine too. Was £15 a month for sky sports, but already have the fire stick. Picture not quite as good and a minute or so behind, didn’t mind paying £15 but pointless for the next few months if I won’t be watching it. I’ve been with sky for over 15 years
