Ryan Lowe talks about the speculation linking midfielder Antoni Sarcevic with a move to Salford ...
Why Salford City? There could be other clubs in for him, there could be other clubs that have offered him contracts. We don’t know, but that’s the name of the game.
“What I can say to the fans is look at what Sarce does, what he says and how he goes about his business. He has loved it here, he has loved the fans here.
“It’s over to him. ‘The contract offer is there, come on, yes or no’. We respect either way whatever decision he makes."

Following a vote on each by all 71 Clubs, it was overwhelmingly agreed:
1. Final divisional placings will be determined on unweighted points per game (if required).
2. Promotion and relegation should be retained.
3. Play-Offs will be played in all circumstances but will not be extended (beyond four teams).

Clubs in Leagues One and Two will now meet by division later today to formally determine whether to resume playing the 2019/20 season or opt for curtailment.

The six proposals being voted on this week by EFL clubs:
EFL board proposal
If the season ends early, the final table should be based on unweighted points-per-game (if required). Promotion and relegation should stay as should the playoffs which has to remain at four teams. If for a reason the playoffs cannot be played, the EFL board will make the appropriate decision.
The majority required to cancel the 2019/20 season in any division should be 51%. Determining whether or not to curtail the season is a decision for each division to take.

Lincoln City proposal
An amendment to the EFL proposal relating to how points deductions are considered in any calculation of PPG.

Tranmere proposal
An alternative determined by a ‘margin for error’ calculation. Proposes if a division decides to curtail its season, then final standings and promotion/relegation will be decided by unweighted PPG but with a ‘margin of error’ calculation, then applied to produce a ‘Final Points Range’ (FPR) for each club.

Ipswich Town proposal
An amendment to the EFL proposal that would require the board to consult with clubs around alternative play-off formats if a normal season is not completed, rather than moving to the existing format.

Barnsley proposal
A general amendment to regulations to provide no club will be relegated from a division where that division fails to conclude its normal fixtures.

Stevenage proposal
An amendment to the EFL proposal to provide that there will be no relegation from League Two this season should the division decide not to complete its fixtures.

Once the outcome of the vote is known and is adopted into EFL regulations, there will be a number of subsequent meetings between the clubs from Leagues One and Two to decide whether to curtail the 2019/20 season or otherwise.

Jeez, spot the blatant self-interest in those proposals from the likes of Barnsley, Tranmere, Ipswich and Stevenage. :furious:

What does Tranmere's proposal even mean? Unweighted PPG and a 'margin for error'? WTF is that? Who gets it? What is it based on? What impact could it have?

It keeps Tranmere up - that's all you need to understand.

To be fair fat fingers and a dodgy calculator should be taken into account. That must be what they mean.
