The government's panic-causing measures have completely skewed perception of what appears to be little more than a seasonal outbreak. All of their 'science' is merely opinion and provides nothing like a good enough basis for unprecedented removal of liberties and contriction of economic activity. Professional football is part of the wider economy which looks like suffering horrendous damage at this rate. Call me old fashioned but I think people should have a choice in how they live and should not be told by the government where to go or that they have to be subjected to compulsory face masks and the like. These things are inherently unhealthy and stand almost no chance of preventing a virus particle from travelling through the air. We need to be allowed to function as free people again or the consequences will be far worse than anything the virus is capable of inflicting upon us. As trivial as football might be in the grand scheme of things it is one of those things that some people would be happy to take a tiny risk in order to be able to enjoy it and hopefully stop it disappearing from their town. Let's be adults and keep the bigger picture in mind. We all want to live but it's important to ensure that it's a life worth living. This cannot entail becoming masked hermits scared of something which in the vast majority of cases has almost no chance of harming them.
Have a word with yourself, are you Trump? Try telling the families of the 600+k that have died its no more than a seasonal flu. How about speaking to all the NHS staff who have to deal with the fall out of this, have to wear full mask, visor and ppe of your take on this. Tell that to the countless NHS staff who had to stay away from their families, as my wife did, its just seasonal flu. Its people like yoj whi have that mindset who makes things worse for everyone else.
