My first and last games for Argyle were 0-2 away defeats but in between I like to think I contributed to some memorable moments for the Green Army.

Johnny Williams was a team mate in all but 4 of my matches.

My first goal for the club came away on the ground of fierce local rivals but the game ended in defeat. In fact a lot of my early goals were scored away from home but in that memorable promotion season I scored in two consecutive Home Park goal feasts in which Argyle rattled up 10 goals and their opponents 7. Later that season I scored the goal in the drawn game that clinched promotion.

I played for two other south coast clubs as well as Argyle, both of which were later managed by a namesake of mine!
