Surely it's more likely to be a young, unproven player who doesn't have many first-team performances under his belt.
When I undertook the search I fed in championship players that are out of contract for left backs. It came up with six results. Hopefully the link I put up will give all six. Out of the six he was the one who I thought it might be. Yes agreed the trial for a senior player well it might not be about skill etc but to see how he fits in playing Ryan Lowes style of football. I also did think about released under 23s but I previously underttok that exercise with premiership youngsters and said the name matty foulds. The response I got was he hasn't had any football league experience. Since then he has been linked on a rumour site. Whilst I liked what I read about matty my thoughts were would it restrict the progress of Ryan Law who as a player i think can make the grade. So with those thoughts inwent for a senior released pkayer from the championship.
