Have voted for Nouble who was transformed when Hardie went off, but could have also voted for Canavan for the impact he made in turning the game round.

Cooper (George) was the best player on the pitch in the first half. He did ok in the second also. So I voted for him.
Mayor had a pretty good game too.
Grant´s goal was ... wow !

Well it wasn't a defender. No real standouts, so Grant for the goal & general workrate.

Connor Grant looked assured and had many good touches, his goal was different class.

I'm sorry but Frank Nouble man of the match? If it was based on the last 20 minutes then he would be a candidate, but before that he was terrible. I was amazed Lowe kept him on when Telford came on, but he obviously knew something I didn't as he suddenly turned into Thierry Henry!
Grant for me, all-action, ball-winning display with solid distribution, capped by a breathtaking goal.

I’d like to ask a question. I’ve heard a couple people say on here that Grant passed well and looked sharp, a had a good all round performance, or something similar. On the other hand I’ve noticed a trend in general, not just on this site, where someone scores a banger, and all of a sudden they are man of match in many peoples eyes....so, my question is...take out the goal by Grant,

who performed better than him during the match, in anyone’s view? I’d love to know that ideally.

There were very few consistent performers across the 90 minutes. They all went missing for the first 20 mins of the second-half and Grant himself was guilty of a really sloppy challenge that led to their freekick goal.

I voted for G Cooper because he looked like being our most likely source of creativity, but I can see why Grant gets the Pasoti nod because he played above his usual level - which is always worthy of praise at our level.

Rather than being 'sloppy' I think Connor Grant was deceived by the quick feet of the Wimbledon player and as a result fouled him in a dangerous, edge of penalty box position. Grant did swing his arms after the event in frustration of being caught out.
Given a few more regular games, I reckon Grant could be the 'Gareth Barry' of Argyle in his contributions

Call it what you will but in that area of the pitch you do not stick a leg out when a player is driving towards the box. Watch the ball not the player and try and force him to pass the ball sideways or backwards.

There are so many defensive basics this team needs to work on that I wonder if they do any work on defending in training at all.

Who does coach the defence on things like set plays? Maybe we should have a specialist coach in that role.

I'm not saying a striker can't coach defending and vice versa, but you'd think playing professionally at centre-back for 15 years - for example - would give you more tools to coach defensive principles than if you spent 15 years scoring goals.

It does seem to be a bit of a glaring omission.
