I have said it before he didn't exactly set the world alight when he was down here on loan.
It's a shame such a talent is falling from grace after such a bright start in football.
I wish him well but he would need to improve a lot from what I saw.

From what I saw of Lloyd Jones I thought he looked a decent player but was playing in a defence without a great deal of confidence. He seemed to be very strong in the air I recall, comfortable in possession and not slow for a big guy. I can’t recall him doing much wrong tbh.
I’d say he’s better than Wootton, Sawyer and possibly Canavan. I say give him a try out behind the scenes - if he looks good then sign him up.

Jones played in a back four under Derek Adams so might prosper in a back three as Canavan and Wootton have done.
However we have enough left-sided centre-backs plus we have Pursall.
