As expected Plymouth is placed into tier 3 as from tomorrow meaning no fans at Home Park for the Gillingham game.
Happy New Tier everyone. :(

No surprise really - we need to get on top of this virus.
According to the report I've just read spectator sports can be attended as per tier 1+2????

Isles Scilly only place in T1, not sure anywhere left in T2 either.

According to BBC News

"People are allowed to attend spectator sports, large events or performances in Tier 3 (indoors or outdoors), as now permitted in Tiers 1 and 2"

"As per" I take this to mean as per old tier 1 and 2 restrictions?

Not according to this from the BBC:

What are the restrictions in tier three?
You can't mix indoors, in private gardens or in most outdoor venues, except with your household or bubble
You can meet in a group of up to six in other outdoor spaces, such as parks, beaches or countryside
Shops, gyms and personal care services (such as hairdressing) can stay open, as can swimming pools
Bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants must stay closed, except for delivery and takeaway
Collective worship can take place - with no mixing outside your bubble
Small wedding ceremonies can take place, but not receptions
Sports fans cannot attend events in stadiums
Indoor entertainment venues - such as bowling alleys and cinemas - must stay closed
People are advised not to travel to and from tier three areas

With 50,000 new cases per day, almost 1000 people dying, you can fully understand why this is necessary.

Let's hope with the new vaccine out soon, we can beat this bleddy thing soon.

Absolutely, sadly the figures will get worse as the effects of the Xmas mixing will show through in the next few weeks.

Well if people don't stick to the guidelines, we cannot expect anything else.

It will be the same people who have a go at the Government, when it is they who are to blame.

Yep very true.

The usual "stick it to the man" lot are once again the cause of the problem not the solution.
