Joe Edwards and Ryan Lowe talk about the Covid protocols at Home Park ... Plymouth Live.

Ryan Lowe explained that George Cooper is scheduled to see a specialist about his knee injury and Gary Sawyer is expected to be back in training by the end of January after recovering from an ankle injury.

The Premier League have published the financial figures for payments to EFL clubs for season 2019/2020 (this is not this season's rescue package) and as a League Two club Argyle received a total of £1.173 million.
This is broken down as £450,000 as a core club, £430,000 for the Academy and £293,000 for the community.
As a comparison Exeter City received £1.023m, Swindon Town £980,000, Portsmouth £1.388m, Bolton £1.841m, Ipswich Town £1.435m and Sunderland £16.92m (including parachute payments).

The away game at Swindon Town on Tuesday 26 January will now kick-off at 7pm.

After starting the season as a 66/1 outsider to be the top scorer in League One Luke Jephcott is now fourth favourite at 9/1.
Jephcott is currently the second top scorer with 11 goals, one behind Peterborough United striker Jonson Clarke-Harris.

And in 2020 ...

Dom Telford's late cameo in Tuesday's game against Oxford United was his 12th substitute league appearance of the season, the most of any player and matched his 12 substitute games from last season. Since signing for Argyle Telford has made nine league starts and 24 games as a substitute, scoring three goals.

It must be very frustrating for Telford. I think that, with the right service, he could trouble League 1 defences with his pace. Rightly, behind Jephcott and Hardie but should be ahead of Nouble.

Staggering! Can someone explain the logic/fairness, I've never quite understood it. Back in the day there was no such system and I don't remember any relegated clubs going bankrupt.

Back in the day the difference between TV income for Division 1 clubs and those in divisions 2, 3 and 4 was nowhere near as great.

Am I losing the plot? I'm sure I heard Lowe confirm we have just had THREE great performances. Deluded or what? Quite concerning if he can't see the issues.
