I was slightly belligerent in my liking of Rory Fallon. I recognise that he was often a frustrating player to watch in a green shirt, but every 1 in 6, he'd have an absolute blinder. Like a more consistent Emile Mpenza but in lower wages!

My answer won't come as a surprise to anyone but it has to be Andy Thomas. A Rolls Royce of a player who showed the quality that came with having played in the old First division. The sad thing is that his spell with us was only short, as his career was cut short by injury. What a player though
